Initiated in 2016, Série B is a contemporary dance program presented in mid-November in Montreal. Its audience comprise both Montreal art-goers and performing arts professionals attending the Biennale CINARS. The programming includes works by DLD’s associate creators as well as invited artists. The artistic signature embraces avant-garde and ingenious approaches.
Série B’s objective is to reinforce the visibility of contemporary dance creators and artists of our community to local audiences and reflect its artistic diversity, while increasing the longevity of shows created and produced in Montreal. Série B’s outreach to diverse Montreal audiences is amplified by its great accessibility, since the programming is presented in central locations across Montreal neighbourhoods, as well as being offered for free or at low cost.
